Just testing a piece of software called Soundflower for mac osx. It allows you to reroute your audio to any program you want. I am using it to capture streams from Spotify and Last FM. I am using Audacity to record and save mp3 files.

Works as well as Audiohijack, but is free.

Processing is an open source programming language for artists, non proprietry it may be the thing for you if you like actionscript but don’t wish to jump on the Adobe bandwagon.

Go here for a reliable on line disk. I have had a free account for three years and have never been let down. Disk space:1Gb, max individual file size 10Mb.

If you like Youtube or Google Videos then this fiefox add on allows you to download the videos as .flvs. You can then watch them on your vlc movie player!

We like this media player, plays all movie formats including .flvs and is cross platform. Highly recommended.
